School Day and Collection Procedures
Our school is open from 7.30am to 6pm for working parents on both sites.
Poppyfields (Dickens Boulevard site) and Dawn until Dusk (Ruskin Drive site) are open for Breakfast club; they then prepare the children for school and walk the children over to the school at 8.45am, dropping them at their class doors. Drop off by parents to Poppyfields is located in the school Pavilion and for Dawn until Dusk at the next door along from the main office entrance.
Poppyfields (Breakfast Club at Dickens Boulevard) and Dawn Until Dusk (Breakfast Club at Ruskin Drive) start at 7.30am.
At the end of the school day Poppyfields and Dawn Until Dusk are able to provide wrap care for our Early Years/KS1 children until 6pm. For our KS2 children, we run our own in-house after school clubs: The Eagles at Dickens Boulevard and The Raccoons at Ruskin Drive. This provision also runs until 6pm.

- 9.00 am - 3.00 pm - Nursery class at Dickens Boulevard (subject to sessions booked)
- 8.45 am - 3.20 pm - Reception, KS1 & KS2 classes *

Entry into School
Each year group has their own parent entrance door which they enter into the school in the mornings:
Dickens Boulevard
Nursery door: to the Right hand side of the main office door by The Pavilion bungalow
Reception door: to the Left hand side of the main office door running alongside Nickleby Way
Year 1: to the Right hand side of the main office door by running alongside Kipling Crescent
Year 2: to the Left hand side of the main office door running alongside Nickleby Way
Year 3: to the Left hand side of the main office door running alongside Nickleby Way
Year 4: at the front of the school running alongside Dickens Boulevard
Ruskin Drive
Nursery door: through the first pedestrian entrance gate to the school site then turn left. The nursery entrance is further down on the right hand side.
Reception door: through the first pedestrian entrance gate to the school site and straight ahead.
Year 1: to the left hand side of the main office door and through the entrance to the playground.
Year 2: to the left hand side of the main office door and through the entrance to the playground.
Year 3: to the left hand side of the main office door and through the entrance to the playground.
Year 4: to the left hand side of the main office door and through the entrance to the playground.
At The End Of The Day
Each classroom door is open at 3.20pm and children are collected from their classrooms by parents or carers.
